Evening Book Club

The evening book club will discuss James by Percival Everett, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Booker Prize, and numerous PEN awards.  James is a retelling of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, both harrowing and ferociously funny, told from the enslaved Jim's point of view.

Copies are available to check out by request at the front desk. Newcomers are welcome to attend the book club. No registration is necessary and you may attend as many or as few meetings as you like.  The group is moderated by a librarian.
