An educator from the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts in Madison will trace the evolution of Christmas Carols from pagan solstice songs to the wide range of carols played and performed around the wintertime holidays today. Participants are encouraged to sing along while exploring the specific histories of a number of popular carols in this virtual lecture.
The library has a museum pass you may check out that provides free admission to the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, should you wish to visit the museum after the lecture.
