The Mason Room is the New Providence Historical Society’s climate-controlled archive of historical records pertaining to New Providence, which is located within the New Providence Memorial Library at 377 Elkwood Avenue.

Join Miss Cathy for stories, interactive rhymes and movement with sign language.

The morning book group will discuss The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, a novel about the power of finding solace in literature and connection with people we might never meet in person. 

A musical that tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America's foremost founding fathers and the first Secretary of the Treasury, famous for his duel with Aaron Burr.

Play with our train set, dollhouse, DUPLO legos and puppet theater in the Coddington Room.  Meet new friends.  Open Play closes from 4-5 pm.

Join us for some toe tapping fun with our favorite string band.  All ages welcome!

Bring your babies and toddlers to read, sign and have some fun with Miss Anita.  Weather permitting Miss Anita's storytime will be outside on the front lawn.    For ages 0 - 3.

Enjoy after-lunch stories and a craft each month.

Knitters, crocheters and stitchers are welcome to come work on your works-in-progress in the Conti Room.

The club will present instructional lectures & strategy in the Conti Family Room.  These presentations are open to children, teens and adults.
